IT and Security Manager

• In this role, you'll own IT operations and security infrastructure for a growing AI safety organization, managing accounts, devices, identity systems, and team support.
• Remediate known security gaps including access controls, endpoint hardening, data protection, and vendor risk assessment.
• Build self-serve infrastructure and processes to reduce manual work across teams.
• Work cross-functionally with Research, Operations, and Communications teams to integrate security into their workflows.
• Hire and manage an IT Coordinator to support organizational expansion.

FAR AI aims to ensure AI systems are trustworthy and beneficial to society. They incubate and accelerate research agendas that are too resource-intensive for academia but not yet ready for commercialisation by industry.
