Interconnection Manager

• Lead the WECC Interconnection team in all interconnection activities through the full life cycle of development and execution of projects.
• Manage preparation of interconnection requests and negotiate interconnection agreements with favorable terms.
• Support greenfield development by reviewing system analysis, providing budget/schedule estimates, and managing technical materials.
• Oversee implementation of portfolio projects, coordinating with transmission owners and internal teams to meet construction schedules.

This role directly contributes to the global energy transition by enabling the interconnection of renewable energy projects, accelerating decarbonization and providing clean electricity to millions.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of work history in renewable or traditional energy development, or transmission planning.
• Ability to analyze power flow and system impact studies for utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage.
• Familiarity with interconnection request packages, transmission systems, Open Access Transmission Tariffs, and Generator Interconnection Procedures.

Salary range: $158,000 - $198,050/year (USD). Total compensation includes annual bonus. Benefits: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off (vacation, sick leave, parental leave).
