Interactive Dashboard Developer

• Clean up and refactor an AI-generated codebase to improve maintainability and professionalism.
• Apply a visual style guide to create a cohesive, polished, and mobile-responsive microsite.
• Ensure performance optimization and accessibility compliance.
• Review and validate internal maintenance documentation for accuracy.

This role enables the public to access and understand critical data about the nonprofit sector in New Hanover County, empowering informed decision-making and community engagement.

• Proven experience building custom, production-quality charts in a plain JavaScript environment (e.g., Chart.js, D3).
• Strong frontend development skills with HTML, CSS (Tailwind preferred), and modern charting libraries.
• Experience cleaning up existing codebases and refactoring for maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a fixed budget and timeline.

Fixed fee of $3,000–$4,000 USD with 50% paid upon contract signing and 50% upon final delivery. Opportunity to work on a meaningful project with a collaborative team.
