Infrastructure Engineer, Technical AI Safety

• Maintain and scale infrastructure for the Loss of Control Observatory, a platform monitoring uncontrolled AI systems through data pipelines, classification systems, and dashboards.
• Refine Python data pipelines for collecting and processing social media data from multiple sources.
• Build GDPR-compliant storage systems and expand pipelines to new data sources including chatbot analysis.
• Maintain LLM-based classification systems with prompt engineering and evaluation frameworks.

This role directly contributes to the safety and governance of advanced AI systems by enabling real-time monitoring and detection of uncontrolled AI behaviors, helping to prevent catastrophic risks.

• Proficiency in Python for data pipeline development.
• Experience with LLM-based classification systems and prompt engineering.
