Mission
What you will drive
- Conduct hydrological assessments, watershed studies, river basin analysis, runoff estimation, flood/drought risk analysis, and surface water availability assessments.
- Develop, review, or support hydrological models using relevant tools and methodologies; work with GIS, remote sensing, hydroinformatics, and water databases.
- Provide technical inputs into IWRM frameworks, SDG6-related planning, water allocation, and sustainable water resources management; translate technical outputs into policy recommendations.
- Prepare technical reports, maps, data summaries, modelling notes, presentations, and advisory briefs.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- University degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydroinformatics, Water Resources Management, Geography, or a related field; Masterโs preferred for senior roles.
- 5โ20 years of progressively responsible experience in hydrology, surface water analysis, water resources management, hydrological modelling, or related disciplines.
- Experience with surface water modelling, IWRM, SDG6, GIS, hydroinformatics, or water data systems strongly preferred; experience in arid, semi-arid, or water-scarce contexts is an advantage.
- Proficiency in tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWAT, MIKE, WEAP, ArcGIS, QGIS, or remote sensing platforms; strong technical writing and communication skills.
