  • Prepare technical reports, maps, data summaries, modelling notes, presentations, and advisory briefs.

Impact

The difference you'll make

This role supports evidence-based planning and climate-resilient water systems in water-scarce, arid, and climate-affected regions, contributing to sustainable water resource management and improved water security for vulnerable communities.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • University degree in Hydrology, Water Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Hydroinformatics, Water Resources Management, Geography, or a related field; Masterโ€™s preferred for senior roles.
  • 5โ€“20 years of progressively responsible experience in hydrology, surface water analysis, water resources management, hydrological modelling, or related disciplines.
  • Experience with surface water modelling, IWRM, SDG6, GIS, hydroinformatics, or water data systems strongly preferred; experience in arid, semi-arid, or water-scarce contexts is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWAT, MIKE, WEAP, ArcGIS, QGIS, or remote sensing platforms; strong technical writing and communication skills.
