Mission

What you will drive

  • Monitor operating environments, identify threats, assess vulnerabilities, and recommend proactive responses to enable safe humanitarian access.
  • Develop and deliver humanitarian access strategies, tools, and trainings for country teams and local partners.
  • Lead safety and security risk management, including incident management, contingency planning, and program criticality determinations.
  • Serve as functional supervisor for country access and security coordinators, overseeing recruitment, performance evaluations, and mandatory training.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Advanced university degree (Masterโ€™s level) in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in international humanitarian assistance with proven track record in security management and humanitarian access in complex crises.
  • Deep understanding of International Humanitarian Law (IHL), humanitarian principles, and security risk management with gender and conflict sensitivity.
  • Fluent English and French mandatory; strong analytical, communication, and training skills.
