HUB Category Manager

• Build strong links back to buyers and business units.
• Identify suppliers (RFQ) and understand transformer product lines to link them to the China supplier base.
• Develop and execute category strategy in China, maintain close contacts with key suppliers, conduct supplier audits, and drive supplier qualification.
• Pursue corrective actions, monitor capacity, negotiate and sign contracts, and monitor supplier performance (OTD, NCR).

This role contributes to building a sustainable and efficient supply chain for Hitachi Energy's transformer products, ensuring quality and cost optimization while fostering supplier relationships that support the company's mission of advancing a sustainable energy future.

• Bachelor/Master degree or above.
• Strong global industry knowledge in supply chain with at least 5 years of experience.
• Hands-on sourcing experience in casting, welding, machining, or heavy machinery components.
• Good problem-solving skills, communication skills with cultural adaptation, and strong leadership quality.
• Self-motivated, independent, project management experience preferred, willing to travel.
• Fluency in English and Chinese.
