HR Generalist

• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, including payroll inputs and people data.
• Act as first point of contact for employee relations, supporting and coaching managers.
• Maintain HR policies, ensure compliance with UK employment law, and deliver training.
• Lead HR system improvements, including sourcing and implementing a new international HRIS.

This role supports the scaling of a gene-editing company that develops high-performing crop varieties to tackle food security and sustainability, directly contributing to global food system resilience.

• 3+ years experience in a similar HR role.
• Experience with payroll providers and accountability for payroll.
• Detailed knowledge of UK HR policies, practices, and law.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and HR systems.
