Head of Horticulture Export and Venture Builder

Build and fund horticulture export companies across Africa, from founder sourcing through scaling operations serving European, Gulf, and Asian markets.
- Find and convince founders to build horticulture export businesses; assess investments and structure deals with revenue or equity models.
- Scope markets by talking to international buyers, growers, and freight forwarders to identify crops and countries where African producers can compete.
- Support portfolio companies hands-on: secure certifications, vet sites for water and cold storage, connect to networks, and help scale operations.
- Requires deep horticulture export experience—built or run an export business, or held senior role at large grower, packer, or exporter.
- Requires 5–25 years experience, strong Africa background, and knowledge of export standards, cold chain logistics, and buyer relationships.
