Mission
What you will drive
- Re-imagine and design hardware for autonomous heavy construction equipment, focusing on scaling hardware systems and testing for reliability in the field.
- Source and configure sensors for rugged conditions (heat, cold, vibration, shock, dust) to optimize robot performance.
- Apply mechanical and electrical design principles to increase reliability and longevity of equipment through vibration/shock analysis, mount design, and life cycle testing.
- Create robust manufacturing processes for AI guidance systems, perform installations across the US and Australia, and collaborate with software engineers and field teams to debug and resolve hardware issues.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- BS, MS, or PhD in mechanical engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of experience using CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, Onshape, Fusion 360).
- 2+ years of experience in electrical design.
- Familiarity with Python, Linux, and ROS is a plus.
