Role details
Write competitive grant proposals for climate innovators seeking federal and state funding, advising on project design and funding strategy.
- Draft technical narratives, budgets, work plans, and other proposal components for federal and state climate funding programs.
- Conduct research and gather data to support proposals; liaise with partners and stakeholders on consortium building.
- Advise clients on project scope, commercialization plans, and fundraising strategy to strengthen funding competitiveness.
- Requires six+ years grant writing experience, including three+ years as lead writer on funded proposals.
- Strong scientific or technical knowledge of climate solutions and experience with DOE, USDA, NSF, EPA, and state energy agencies.
