Global Head, Vaccine Chemistry, Manufacturing and Controls, Center for Vaccine Innovation and Access

Lead vaccine chemistry, manufacturing, and controls strategy across a diverse portfolio of vaccine candidates in development and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership on process development, product analytics, formulation, manufacturing, quality control, and non-clinical safety testing for vaccine projects.
- Oversee CMC team of ~8 experts; manage resource allocation, recruitment, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration with CVIA leadership.
- Review and author regulatory submissions (eCTD modules), validate processes and methods, and conduct technical due diligence of manufacturing partners and vendors.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes for robustness, cost efficiency, compliance, and technology transfer from R&D to commercial operations in low-resource settings.
- Requires 15+ years vaccine or biologics industry experience; Ph.D. or master's in chemistry or vaccine-related field; cGMP validation expertise essential.
