Full Stack Tech Lead - Senior

• Lead the technical design and execution of full-stack web applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and efficient full-stack solutions, including APIs, databases, and user interfaces.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Act as the primary technical partner to product managers, informing scope, sequencing, and tradeoffs.

Mill's technology diverts food scraps from landfills, transforming them into valuable resources like chicken feed, reducing methane emissions and keeping food in the food system. This role directly contributes to scaling that impact through robust software systems.

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development.
• Deep experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular, or SvelteKit).
• Strong backend experience with TypeScript/Node.js; comfort with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL database systems, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS).

Estimated base salary range: $185k to $225k, plus potential equity grant and benefits. A wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions.
