About This Role
This freelance role is a 10-month project focused on enhancing the Smart Living and Smart Building technology stack. You will improve zero-touch provisioning, enhance monitoring capabilities, and build a proof of concept for a new BOS architecture, all using cutting-edge technologies like Kotlin, Spring Boot, and BLE/Bluetooth Mesh. Your work will directly contribute to making buildings more efficient and sustainable.
💡 A Day in the Life
As a freelance IoT Software Engineer, your day might start with a stand-up call with the team to discuss progress on the provisioning improvements. You'll spend hours coding in Kotlin, debugging Bluetooth Mesh interactions, and updating Grafana dashboards. Afternoon could involve a brainstorming session for the BOS architecture proof of concept, followed by documenting your findings and preparing a demo for stakeholders.
