Founding Research Scientist

Design and execute AI model evaluations to assess properties critical for long-term human judgment and impact.
- Propose evaluation methods and operationalize tests assessing whether AI models possess important properties.
- Run experiments iterating on evaluations to improve quality and expand research pipeline.
- Lead substantial research projects autonomously, coordinating with external collaborators and communicating with stakeholders.
- Requires deep familiarity with AI evaluation, technical software skills, and strong research judgment.
- PhD or equivalent research experience in computer science, statistics, or related field preferred.
