Finance & Operations Director

• Manage financial operations across nonprofit and earned revenue streams, including budgeting, accounting, grant management, and audit preparation.
• Serve as strategic financial advisor to the Managing Director and senior leadership team, supporting organizational development and growth.
• Oversee operational systems, risk management, compliance, and internal controls for both Resilience Force (501c3) and Resilience Works (LLC).
• Contribute to building a sustainable team culture in remote and in-person environments.

This role ensures the financial health and operational efficiency of an organization that protects and builds the resilience workforce—workers who rebuild communities after climate disasters—advancing climate adaptation, labor rights, and racial justice.

• At least 7 years of experience in Financial and Operations Management, including understanding financial relationships between multiple legal entities.
• Well-developed understanding of 501(c)(3) and LLC fiscal structures, budgets, grants, and programs.
• Experience engaging with working-class and BIPOC communities, and commitment to economic and racial justice.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills; experience managing people and projects remotely.
