Mission

What you will drive

  • Support day-to-day financial operations of BOOM and partner organizations, including tracking revenue, monitoring expenses, processing accounts payable and receivable, and managing staff credit card expenses and reimbursements.
  • Manage financial reporting: reconcile bank statements, prepare reports, assist with month/year-end closing, support audits and 990 tasks.
  • Handle grant management: record income, track budgets/expenses, liaise with partner expense approvers.
  • Provide system support: onboard staff/partners to financial systems (Bill.com, Divvy, Google Workspace), support receipt collection/transaction classification.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience; non-profit experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Proficient in Quickbooks Online, Bill.com/Divvy, and Google Workspace required.
  • Committed to social, economic, and racial justice; mission-driven with cultural competency and experience in diverse communities.
