Finance Coordinator - Emergency Roster

• Manage all financial, accounting and budgetary aspects of projects to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Carry out regular analysis of financial data, including budget monitoring, and act as an early warning system to mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with internal budgetary frameworks and donor requirements, and communicate budgets across teams.
• Contribute to the compilation and updating of departmental dashboards, guides, and manuals.

This role ensures that Médecins du Monde’s emergency health projects are financially sound, enabling efficient use of resources to provide medical assistance to vulnerable populations in crisis settings.

• Master’s degree in financial management, economic science, or similar.
• Minimum 5 years of expatriation experience in a similar position for an international NGO.
• Prior experience in an emergency context and/or sensitive security context.
• Knowledge of public funding bodies’ requirements and financial reporting procedures; proficiency in accounting rules and standards.
• Good command of French and English; additional languages (Arabic, Swahili, Pashto) are a major asset.
