Mission

What you will drive

  • Design and co-lead PBB's long-term policy advocacy campaigns and initiatives, setting policy strategy goals and building relationships with elected officials and community organizations.
  • Engage in direct community organizing including canvassing, phone banking, and one-on-one conversations to build grassroots support and recruit volunteers.
  • Supervise field staff, coordinate contractors, and develop organizing tools and training materials to advance PBB's field and advocacy strategy.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • 4+ years of experience in grassroots base-building, policy advocacy campaigns, and building relationships with diverse communities.
  • 3+ years of experience with ballot measure campaigns, electoral organizing, or issue-based initiatives.
  • 1+ years of experience managing staff, volunteers, or organizing teams in advocacy or community organizing contexts.
  • Strong project management, communication, and facilitation skills; knowledge of participatory budgeting or local government advocacy preferred.
