What you will drive

Two-year European fellowship in field epidemiology or public health microbiology, training professionals to strengthen infectious disease surveillance and control across EU/EEA member states.
- Complete applied training at national surveillance centres (EPIET) or public health laboratories (EUPHEM) across Europe.
- Master's degree in medicine, public health, epidemiology, biology, microbiology, or related health sciences required.
- Two years public health or applied epidemiology experience for EPIET; three years microbiology experience or PhD for EUPHEM.
- Fluency in English plus one other EU/EEA official language (minimum B2 level) and EU/EEA citizenship required.
- Fellowship begins September 2027; application deadline 26 October 2026.
