Fall 2026 Science Internship – Washington, DC Regional Office

• Research scientific questions to support Earthjustice's advocacy work before federal agencies and courts.
• Contribute to comment letters, factsheets, blog posts, internal memos, and engagement with Congressional members/staffers.

This internship supports Earthjustice's mission to protect public health, preserve natural resources, and combat climate change through rigorous scientific analysis that strengthens legal advocacy.

• Enrolled in a graduate program with expected graduation no earlier than December 2026; background in environmental science, biology, chemistry, engineering, public health, or related field preferred.
• Experience with environmental health topics (e.g., epidemiology, toxicology, human health risk assessment).
• Outstanding research skills including scientific literature reviews and basic quantitative data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Hourly rate of $27.39 for graduate students; flexible remote or hybrid schedule; 10-15 hours/week for 10-12 weeks.
