Externship / Student Volunteer, Transparency and Regulatory Affairs (Fall 2026 and Spring 2027)

• Support the Transparency and Regulatory Affairs Program through legal research and regulatory advocacy to protect animals.
• Conduct research and draft memoranda on regulatory matters affecting exploited animals.
• Assist in drafting regulatory comments, petitions for rulemaking, FOIA requests, and appeals.
• Help gather data and create spreadsheets tracking animal-exploiting industries.

This role helps protect animals by advancing transparency and regulatory reforms that hold animal-exploiting industries accountable.

• Interest in animal law and regulatory advocacy.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to draft regulatory comments and FOIA requests.
• Proficiency in data gathering and spreadsheet management.

Unpaid externship/student volunteer position. Academic credit may be available. Gain hands-on experience in animal law and regulatory advocacy.
