Digital Communications Director

• Design, manage, and execute Animal Outlook's messaging across all digital platforms, including email, social media, and website.
• Oversee owned communications channels, optimizing email content, growing social media reach, and ensuring excellent website user experience.
• Lead a small team, supervise the Communications and Development Associate, and manage relationships with contractors.
• Produce and edit written materials for investigations releases, legal updates, campaigns, blogs, and web content.

This role amplifies Animal Outlook's mission to expose cruelty and create systemic change for farmed animals, shaping public narrative and driving engagement that leads to policy and corporate reforms.

• 3-7 years of experience in strategic communications, digital communications, or related fields.
• Strong writing skills with ability to craft compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated success in growing digital audiences and optimizing content performance across multiple channels.
• Experience with A/B testing, data-driven decision making, and familiarity with social media and digital communications tools.
