Executive Director

• Lead water protection campaigns and advocacy in Nevada and Utah, including opposing the Cedar City Pipeline and advocating for balanced water laws.
• Oversee finances, grants, and supporter engagement; lead fundraising efforts including gift cultivation, donor stewardship, and grant applications.
• Serve as primary spokesperson, engaging with media, legislators, tribal partners, and stakeholders; produce newsletters, website updates, and social media content.
• Foster an inclusive, positive work culture and provide strategic direction to the Board of Directors.

This role ensures sustainable water management in the Great Basin, protecting communities and ecosystems from dangerous water projects and climate change impacts.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years of professional-level experience in advocacy, government affairs, academia, or business.
• Fundraising or grant writing experience preferred; background in natural resources.
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation; must be located in Reno or Las Vegas, NV.

Salary $105,000 - $115,000 DOE. Up to 5% 403(b) retirement contribution. Up to $7,500 contribution to pre-tax Health Reimbursement Account. Work from home with extensive travel (up to one week per month).
