Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead water protection campaigns and advocacy in Nevada and Utah, including opposing the Cedar City Pipeline and advocating for balanced water laws.
  • Oversee finances, grants, and supporter engagement; lead fundraising efforts including gift cultivation, donor stewardship, and grant applications.
  • Serve as primary spokesperson, engaging with media, legislators, tribal partners, and stakeholders; produce newsletters, website updates, and social media content.
  • Foster an inclusive, positive work culture and provide strategic direction to the Board of Directors.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Minimum three years of professional-level experience in advocacy, government affairs, academia, or business.
  • Fundraising or grant writing experience preferred; background in natural resources.
  • Current driverโ€™s license and access to reliable transportation; must be located in Reno or Las Vegas, NV.

What's in it for you

Salary $105,000 - $115,000 DOE. Up to 5% 403(b) retirement contribution. Up to $7,500 contribution to pre-tax Health Reimbursement Account. Work from home with extensive travel (up to one week per month).
