Executive Director

• Lead water protection campaigns and advocacy in Nevada and Utah, collaborating with partners and navigating water politics.
• Oversee finances, grants, and supporter engagement; lead fundraising efforts including donor stewardship and grant applications.
• Serve as primary spokesperson, manage communications (newsletters, website, social media), and engage with media.
• Conduct water tours and public events; assist Tribal partners in regulatory and legal matters.

This role ensures sustainable water management in the Great Basin, protecting communities and ecosystems from over-extraction and climate change impacts.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum three years of professional-level experience in advocacy, government affairs, academia, or business.
• Fundraising or grant writing experience preferred; background in natural resources.
• Current driver’s license and access to reliable transportation; must be located in Reno or Las Vegas, NV.

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 DOE. Up to 5% 403(b) retirement contribution. Up to $7,500 contribution to pre-tax Health Reimbursement Account. Work from home; extensive travel (up to one week per month) with expenses reimbursed.
