Mission

What you will drive

  • Lead water protection campaigns and advocacy strategies, including opposing the Cedar City Pipeline and advocating for balanced water laws.
  • Oversee finances, grants, and supporter engagement, and lead fundraising efforts to sustain and grow the organization.
  • Serve as the primary spokesperson, engaging with media, funders, stakeholders, and the public.
  • Foster an inclusive, positive work culture and collaborate with the Board, partners, and tribal communities.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree required.
  • Minimum three years of professional-level experience in advocacy, government affairs, academia, or business.
  • Fundraising or grant writing experience preferred; background in natural resources.
  • Current driverโ€™s license and access to reliable transportation for travel to remote rural areas.

Benefits

What's in it for you

Salary: $105,000 - $115,000 DOE. Up to 5% 403(b) retirement contribution. Up to $7,500 contribution to pre-tax Health Reimbursement Account. Work from home with extensive travel (up to one week per month).
