Event Manager

Manage event operations for AI alignment research conferences, workshops, and retreats ranging from 30 to 200 participants.
- Own end-to-end logistics: venue selection, catering, vendor coordination, attendee communications, budgeting, and onsite execution.
- Track expenses, manage multiple concurrent events, and flag scheduling conflicts or capacity issues.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align event planning with organizational strategy and mission.
- Manage event staff and volunteers for larger gatherings; build systems to streamline operations.
- Requires 3+ years event operations experience owning logistics end-to-end; frequent travel within US, UK, and EU.
