Evaluation of the Ireland’s Civil Society Programme Global Citizenship Education Stream

Evaluate the Global Citizenship Education (GCE) programme funded under Ireland’s Civil Society Partnership for A Better World, assessing performance, delivery, and impact.

• Assess the GCE programme against OECD-DAC criteria and ICSP strategic framework outcomes.
• Identify learning and good practice to inform future programme design.
• Produce an inception report, draft and final evaluation report, and facilitate a validation workshop.

This evaluation will enhance the effectiveness of Global Citizenship Education in Ireland, fostering critical thinking and action on global justice issues among the Irish public, thereby contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable development.

• Substantive experience in conducting evaluations of similar scale and complexity using mixed methods.
• Expert knowledge of and evaluation expertise in Global Citizenship Education in Ireland.
• Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including programme participants, teachers, and partners.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills.
