Engineering Manager

• Lead, mentor, and empower a diverse team of engineers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to generation and large developers, helping them navigate SERC's evolving interconnection landscape.
• Identify and pursue new service lines and products, lead proposal and RFP development, and contribute thought leadership.

This role accelerates the transition to renewable energy by guiding clients through interconnection processes, enabling new generation projects to connect to the grid efficiently and reliably.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the electric energy industry with a solid technical background in transmission planning or interconnection.
• Strong understanding of power system analysis and associated software tools (e.g., PSS/E, TARA PSCAD, PSLF, or PowerWorld).
• Proven ability to connect technical depth with commercial strategy and exceptional communication skills.
• Strong understanding of interconnection requirements of at least one major utility in SERC.
