Energy Markets Associate

• Build and enhance tools to support participation in energy markets, focusing on scaling energy storage across programs.
• Translate program rules into technical requirements and develop analytical tools for operational and customer-facing needs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Product to improve portfolio performance and support go-to-market efforts.
• Innovate and generate ideas to deliver better energy and more cash to customers.

This role directly contributes to the energy transition by enabling the integration of distributed energy resources and energy storage, reducing grid stress, high prices, and emissions, thereby accelerating the decarbonized energy system of the future.

• Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with project management experience.
• Programming experience in Python and SQL; strong technical proficiency in Excel.
• 1-2 years experience in demand-side energy industry (preferred) and 3-4 years of work experience.
