Mission
What you will drive
- Proactively monitor deliverability health across 60+ nonprofit and political clients, identifying reputation issues, inbox placement dips, authentication failures, and blocklist risks before they affect campaign performance.
- Serve as MissionWiredโs lead technical resource on deliverability incidents, diagnosing root causes and recommending practical, time-sensitive next steps.
- Lead mitigation efforts with mailbox providers, ESPs, and external partners; review and advise on email authentication and sending infrastructure (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, alignment, domain configuration).
- Build repeatable processes, documentation, and internal guidance; train and mentor internal team members on email deliverability fundamentals.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience in email deliverability, preferably in an agency or high-volume sending environment.
- Deep working knowledge of email authentication and sender infrastructure (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, alignment) and current bulk-sender expectations from major mailbox providers.
- Strong experience with deliverability monitoring tools (Inbox Monster, Everest/Validity).
- Clear communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders; comfort working independently as a consultant.
