Job description
Conduct economic research to help animal advocacy organizations prioritize high-impact policy reforms and interventions.
- Estimate economic impacts of animal welfare reforms on production costs and market dynamics across regions.
- Model effects of policy changes on animal product trade, consumption, and alternative protein development.
- Synthesize research from multiple sources into decision-relevant summaries for advocacy strategy evaluation.
- Requires undergraduate degree in economics and ability to rapidly learn technical skills including R programming and cost-effectiveness analysis.
- Postgraduate economics degree, equilibrium modeling experience, or regional expertise in Latin America, Africa, or Asia preferred.
