Early Career Policy Principal - Wholesale Electricity Markets (PJM)

• Develop and execute strategies and campaigns to accelerate clean energy deployment in the PJM region.
• Draft comments, reports, presentations, fact sheets, and other materials for education and advocacy efforts.
• Manage tracking and analysis of PJM wholesale market reform efforts and planning processes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with United staff, members, partners, regulators, policymakers, and market participants.

This role directly supports the transition to 100% clean energy by advocating for wholesale electricity market reforms that enable the growth of advanced energy technologies and the retirement of fossil fuel-based generation.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s degree is a plus.
• 4-6 years of professional experience in policy analysis, policy advocacy, and/or market analysis; experience with PJM or other competitive wholesale electricity markets strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including public speaking.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a remote environment.

Salary starting at $75,000.
