Director of Utility Partnerships (Remote, US)

• Own and close complex strategic utility partnerships, managing the full sales lifecycle from opportunity creation to contract negotiation and deal closure.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified utility opportunities, proactively identifying whitespace and converting interest into executed agreements.
• Help utilities understand the value of residential virtual power plants and flexible load resources, translating grid challenges into actionable opportunities.
• Establish trusted relationships with senior utility leaders and represent Renew Home at industry events to expand the company's presence.

This role accelerates the adoption of residential virtual power plants, enabling utilities to unlock flexible grid capacity from connected homes, supporting grid reliability and decarbonization.

• 10+ years of enterprise sales, partnerships, or business development experience in the energy sector with a track record of closing multi-million dollar deals.
• Deep understanding of utilities, demand-side management programs, distributed energy resources, and the energy transition landscape.
• Experience selling grid-facing solutions such as demand response, virtual power plants, DER aggregation, or grid services.
• Self-directed operator comfortable in fast-moving environments with strong executive communication and relationship-building skills.

Full-time position with competitive salary based on experience. On-target earnings: $250k-$315k+. Eligible for long-term incentive programs.
