Role details
Lead research strategy and operations for an interdisciplinary AI and internet governance center at Harvard Law School.
- Set ambitious research agenda across AI governance, model interpretability, agentic systems, and human impact areas.
- Build and direct diverse research teams; oversee project execution from exploration through publication and real-world deployment.
- Cultivate partnerships across academia, industry, and civil society; represent the center to funders and stakeholders.
- Ensure research outputs reach beyond academia with clear communication and demonstrable real-world impact.
- Requires 10+ years leading complex research organizations with interdisciplinary expertise and strong grant-relationship experience.
