Mission
What you will drive
- Lead monitoring and analysis of federal and state legislative developments affecting higher education, particularly around sector autonomy, academic freedom, and fair opportunity.
- Develop and maintain a state-by-state legislative decision tree to categorize risk levels and policy opportunities.
- Design and produce actionable 'playbooks' for academic leaders and advocates based on state legislative environments.
- Implement a comprehensive strategy for stakeholder organizing, including building relationships, organizing work groups, and coordinating rapid response efforts.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Master's degree or higher in public policy, public administration, political science, education, sociology, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in policy analysis, government relations, higher education administration, or stakeholder organizing.
- Demonstrated experience with coalition building and managing complex multi-stakeholder networks.
- Deep understanding of federal and state legislative processes and higher education policy landscape.
