Director of Development

• Lead and execute fundraising strategies across individual giving, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, and events.
• Build and manage a portfolio of donors, driving cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
• Support annual campaigns, donor communications, and revenue growth in partnership with leadership.

This role directly sustains independent, nonpartisan journalism in Nevada, ensuring free access to quality news that informs the public and holds institutions accountable.

• 5+ years of nonprofit fundraising or development experience.
• Proven track record in individual giving, major gifts, and donor stewardship.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM, and Google Workspace.
