Mission
What you will drive
- Provide strategic leadership for governance across IDSA and the IDSA Foundation, partnering with volunteer leaders, Boards of Directors, committees, and senior staff.
- Oversee board and volunteer operations, including agenda development, board materials, minutes, and governance meeting schedules.
- Develop and implement progressive governance frameworks, oversee nominations and elections, and ensure compliance with governance policies and bylaws.
- Lead risk management and compliance efforts, including policy creation, review, and adherence to legal requirements.

Profile
What makes you a great fit
- Bachelorโs degree in business administration, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of relevant experience in nonprofit governance, board relations, or a related area, preferably within a membership organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; extensive knowledge of nonprofit governance principles, practices, and legal requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with strong attention to detail; proficiency in governance management software.
