How to apply for Director, eCommerce and Customer Acquisition
Resource Innovations
About Resource Innovations
Resource Innovations is a women-led energy transformation firm focused on impact. It works on energy efficiency and clean energy solutions for utilities and communities. The company is expanding its portfolio to guide utilities and customers toward sustainable energy and water use.
About the role
This director role builds and leads Resource Innovations' eCommerce and direct-to-consumer customer acquisition capability. You will help clients and RI generate demand and meet sales, enrollment, energy savings, and revenue goals. The role supports utility marketplaces, limited-time offers, custom energy-efficiency kit sites, pay-for-performance programs, and corporate lead generation.
A typical day
You might meet with the marketing account management team to align on client objectives, then work on acquisition strategies for a utility marketplace or limited-time offer. You could also review performance data for a pay-for-performance program, plan new partnerships or tools, and support corporate lead generation efforts. The role is remote and involves close collaboration with the VP of Marketing and client-facing teams.
Who Resource Innovations is looking for
- Has experience leading eCommerce and direct-to-consumer acquisition across multiple programs or business lines.
- Can translate client and contractual objectives into acquisition strategies that drive measurable enrollment and revenue.
- Is comfortable working with a marketing account management team that owns client relationships.
- Has built processes, tools, partnerships, and operating practices to scale acquisition capabilities.
- Understands pay-for-performance models where financial results depend on customer enrollment.
Tips for this application
- Highlight any experience with utility marketplaces, energy-efficiency kit sites, or limited-time offer campaigns.
- Show how you have built or scaled an eCommerce or customer acquisition function, not just run campaigns.
- Quantify results in enrollment, energy savings, revenue, or sales from past acquisition programs.
- Mention experience working with marketing account management or client-facing teams to meet contractual goals.
- Explain how you have supported pay-for-performance programs where your work directly affected financial outcomes.
