Development Manager

• Own the advancement and execution of assigned geothermal projects with primary responsibility for schedule, budget, risk management, and milestone delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact to engage with federal, state, and local agencies, landowners, contractors, and utilities to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Manage third-party consultants for site assessments and coordinate cross-functional teams to track timelines and budgets.
• Lead project diligence for prospective offtakers and financiers, and innovate solutions to accelerate project development.

This role directly contributes to advancing geothermal energy, a renewable baseload power source, helping to displace carbon emissions and accelerate the transition to a carbon-free energy future.

• 3+ years experience in utility-scale energy development in the western US.
• 3+ years experience negotiating commercial agreements and/or obtaining discretionary permits for large infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management skills and ability to communicate across disciplines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
