Development Manager

• Lead and execute annual fundraising campaigns, including direct appeals, recurring donor communications, and stewardship activities.
• Maintain donor database, ensure accurate gift entry, acknowledgments, and data integrity.
• Coordinate donor stewardship, communications, and events to enhance donor engagement.
• Support grant proposal development and reporting, and improve fundraising systems.

This role directly supports efforts to end obstetric fistula and other childbirth injuries, improving maternal health and restoring dignity for women and families in Uganda and across Africa.

• 3-4 years of professional experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, donor relations, or comparable roles.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience using a CRM or donor/customer database.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency with Google Workspace.

Salary: $68,000 - $75,000 annually. Benefits include 25 days PTO (including holidays and vacation), 6 days sick leave, health insurance stipend, and employer-sponsored retirement plan.
