Development Director

• Create and implement a comprehensive 5-year development strategy for a 300-household synagogue community.
• Build and manage individual giving programs, grant writing, fundraising events, and donor stewardship.
• Advise and support lay leaders, staff, and board in fundraising roles and major gifts solicitation.

This role directly supports the sustainability and growth of a vibrant, inclusive Jewish community, enabling Bnai Keshet to continue its mission of community, social action, and kindness for years to come.

• 10+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and development.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills.
• Proven track record in building individual giving programs and using donor databases/CRMs.
• Understanding of synagogue life and Jewish communal culture preferred.

Part-time (10-12 hours/week), flexible schedule with remote work options. Compensation: $25,000-$35,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Growth opportunities available.
