Design Intern (Nov 2026)

• Assist in shaping place-led outcomes by contributing to urban design, master planning, and public realm projects from concept to delivery.
• Produce high-quality drawings, visualizations, and presentations (diagrams, sections, 3D massing, renders).
• Assist with site analysis, precedent research, data synthesis, and design option generation.
• Help prepare reports, design narratives, and client-facing materials to a professional standard.

This internship contributes to shaping communities and infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand, applying sustainable and inclusive design principles to create positive urban environments.

• Currently pursuing a degree in urban design, architecture, landscape architecture, planning, or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and GIS.
• Strong graphic communication and visualization skills.
• Understanding of sustainability and inclusive design principles.

12-week paid internship (mid-November to mid-February). Real project experience, exposure to iconic projects, AECOM Summer Series with senior leaders, work alongside technical experts, global business collaboration, and potential pathway to graduate employment.
