Deputy Director

Core responsibilities:

• Serve as a thought partner to the Executive Director on organizational priorities, programming, and growth
• Own end-to-end design and quality of ElevAAte's programming including multi-day leadership retreats, regional gatherings, and research reports
• Oversee day-to-day operations and internal systems, including Salesforce, to ensure the organization has the structure, tools, and clarity to execute
• Help develop sponsorship proposals and materials while maintaining donor and sponsor tracking in Salesforce

This role advances the leadership pipeline for East Asian Americans in U.S. biopharma by running high-impact programming for senior executives, investors, and operators, helping to build a more diverse and inclusive industry.

Required skills and experience:

• 6–10 years in nonprofit leadership, program management, operations, or a related field
• Track record managing complex projects and senior relationships
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with executive-level audiences
• Experience in fundraising, partnerships, or business development a plus; Salesforce or similar CRM experience helpful
• Background in biopharma, life sciences, or Asian American communities preferred
