Data Scientist - Mapping

• Design and build large-scale mapping datasets and data pipelines for training and evaluating machine learning models.
• Design and build tools for model performance benchmarking and introspection.
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to define data curation and model training strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with perception, planning, prediction, simulation, and other teams.

This role directly contributes to the development of high-definition maps that are foundational for safe, scalable autonomous driving, accelerating the deployment of autonomous vehicles and reducing transportation-related emissions and accidents.

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field and 3+ years of experience.
• Proficient in Python.
• Strong statistical foundations including hypothesis testing, experimental design, regression analysis, and time-series analysis.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-modal datasets, benchmarking, and introspection.
