Data Modeller / Analytics Engineer

• Lead the design and build of governed, reusable global data models that translate enterprise data into business-ready dimensions, facts and metrics for consistent reporting, self-service analytics, and AI/ML readiness.
• Act as the bridge between data team, IT leaders, and business leaders to define requirements, shape data products, and model business logic.
• Deliver semantic data models in Microsoft Azure Fabric, focusing on gold layer models, semantic models, and AI-ready consumption.
• Optimize semantic data models for performance, quality, and usability, ensuring scalable and future-proof delivery.

This role enables data-driven decision-making for renewable energy operations, supporting the transition to zero-carbon energy by ensuring accurate, consistent, and accessible data for reporting and AI/ML applications.

• Strong data modelling expertise: dimensional modelling, business rules, dimensions, data patterns.
• SQL mastery and experience with transformation frameworks, testing/documentation practices, building Star Schema data models, ETL, and DAX.
• Deeply skilled in semantic Azure data modelling, including semantic layers and performance/cost optimization.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, with significant experience in analytics engineering and semantic modelling.
