Data Analytics and AI Technical Lead

• Own the delivery of analytics and AI products at RES, turning complex data into trusted, governed insight for senior leaders.
• Apply machine learning and generative AI (LLMs, RAG) to solve real business problems, including predictive modeling, classification, segmentation, anomaly detection, and forecasting.
• Develop comprehensive semantic data models and business intelligence solutions, and deliver automation using tools like Power Platform.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, business-ready insight for executive audiences and lead UAT and business validation.

This role directly contributes to RES's mission of a future with affordable, zero-carbon energy by using data and AI to drive strategic decisions that optimize renewable energy operations and accelerate the transition to clean energy.

• 10+ years' experience as a technical analyst delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions with measurable business impact.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, modeling, and scripting.
• Proven experience with semantic data modeling (Kimball, star schema) and data visualization tools like Power BI.
• Experience applying machine learning and generative AI (prompt engineering, RAG) to business problems, with a strong understanding of responsible AI principles.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure platform for reporting, data development, and analytics, including Azure/Fabric.
• Experience with automation tooling such as Power Platform, Power Automate, or equivalent.
• Degree in data science, data analytics, computer science, or related field.
• Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills, with experience presenting to executive stakeholders.
