Data Analyst

• Create dashboards and reports to inform programmatic and strategy decisions for AV staff and partners.
• Collaborate with internal program staff to translate needs into analytics questions, investigate using SQL, and communicate findings in clear, actionable ways.
• Stay up to date with research and best practices, and help incorporate new methods into analysis work.

This role helps America Votes and its partners optimize voter contact programs, win elections, and drive progressive change, ultimately protecting voting rights and advancing progressive policies.

• At least one cycle of data experience at a political campaign or progressive organization, including working with voter files and voter contact data.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in cloud data warehouse environments, complex joins, and aggregate functions.
• Experience gleaning actionable insights from data and communicating results in presentations, graphs, and written memos.
• Experience creating dashboards (platform agnostic).

Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 per year.
