Cybersecurity Advisory & Tooling Services Specialist

• Provide cybersecurity advisory support to IT and business stakeholders, offering guidance on secure design, risk mitigation, and security best practices.
• Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise security tools including Axonius, Lansweeper, and Tenable, ensuring effective asset discovery and vulnerability management.
• Monitor, analyze, and triage tool outputs, including vulnerability findings, asset inventory changes, and security alerts, escalating risks where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, including standard operating procedures, runbooks, and process guides to support consistent and auditable practices.

This role strengthens and protects Hitachi Energy's global technology environment by ensuring critical cybersecurity tools operate effectively, reducing risk and enhancing the overall security posture to support sustainable energy innovation.

• Proven experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, or IT operations, with exposure to both security operations and advisory or stakeholder-facing responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including servers, networks, endpoints, cloud services, and the application of security controls.
• Hands-on experience administering security technologies such as vulnerability management, asset management, or security monitoring tools; experience with Axonius, Lansweeper, and/or Tenable is desirable.
• Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Controls.
