Controller

• Lead and standardize the monthly and quarterly close process across business units, targeting a 5-day close.
• Oversee consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, including flux analysis and audit-ready reporting.
• Develop scalable internal controls and risk management framework in preparation for SOX compliance.
• Build and lead a high-performing accounting team, providing coaching and performance feedback.

This role ensures financial integrity and scalability for SunPower, enabling the company to expand access to clean solar energy and accelerate the transition to renewable power.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP (ASC 205, ASC 606, ASC 718, ASC 842).
• Familiarity with NetSuite, billing, corporate card, procurement, and financial close tools.

Compensation: $150,000 annually.
